@BrooksLamonte Sesame Street has great inclusion. I totally forgot about Julia. I’m glad they have that character. Also, you should definitely use people first languages because their exceptionality does not define them. So say a character with autism
This show teaches children theater & introduces the Universal Model of Education. There is a character who is in a wheelchair and a character who has autism in the same class. It's import for children to see this inclusion.have you seen other kid tv examples of this? #TUEDUC1331
I totally agree. I think that theater should be more inclusive and that is a great way to do it! There are similar productions, the 5th Ave theater in Seattle did Hunchback of Notre Dame where the actor who played Quasimodo was deaf and signed. You should check it out!@LozMeatz
Spring Awakening ASL in New York https://t.co/pIM8YeQLpo via @YouTube Spring Awakening with ASL in New York https://t.co/pIM8YeQLpo I love theater & think it should be for everyone! Who knew about this production? What other ways can we make theater more inclusive? #TUEDUC1331
THIS IS IMPORTANT. We must all strive for inclusion. Inclusion for people with exceptionalities & different races. Going through life with an inclusive state of mind is important. This can be taught at a young age in classes that use the Universal Model of Education #TUEDUC1331

@Gaby_Galan6 I think definitely in the ramps. A lot of the ramps at Trinity University are out of the way and difficult to get to I think they need to be moved. Also installing elevators in every building. What do you think?
@notanowl_ This is so sad! I cannot believe they are doing this. We keep deporting people who could add so much to our country! It is so sad that they are treated so badly
This show is so good. Not only does it teach children theater, but it shows a Universal Model of Education. In the show, there is a character who is in a wheel chair and a character who has autism in the same class. It is import for children to see this inclusion #TUEDUC1331
WONDERSTRUCK! It is a great book about children who are audibly impaired. Told both by pictures and words, if you have the time it is definitely worth a read. It's a great way to understand how our society can be difficult to navigate for people with exceptionalities #TUEDUC1331
Any Baby Can have really wonderful programs for parents, kids with autism, and siblings of kids who are autistic. I love all the people that work there and the kids are really great! Inclusion worldwide is so important. Where do you see inclusion in your life? #TUEDUC1331
@gonzalez_sofie This is one of my favorite Broadway shows. I love the inclusiveness. They really used ASL to tell the story. They even had the first person in a wheelchair as a performer on Broadway in that show!
