This could have an interesting application when dealing with transferring antidotes for an anti-toxin/venom or tPA to locations that may not have all cures in supply #hadm5432 https://t.co/Lo1gTSM4jI
Nice, for the future especially to help pts who may visit an UrgCare for tests & then visit an ER for utd info on a pt. But as a CoP, seems to skip over a lot of issues in info sharing that exist especially w/o explicit instructions and EHR protections for pt safety. #hadm5432 https://t.co/xhFfYoTx8x
Should definitely be a help to some of those in the demographic with transportation and mobility obstacles. The elderly also exist here and coupling online re-fills with Alexa doesn't seem feasible for less tech-savy groups. #hadm5432 https://t.co/8xgy0qHAzi
"This could be the harbinger of @amazon getting into the pharmacy storefront and rapid clinic business," says @WestMonroe's Ed Francis.

EHR platforms that I've worked with do not have option beyond M/F for identity. However in my experience I've seen the identity changed to the pt's preference after initial triage. #hadm5432 https://t.co/hPEQy24QYS
Ideally there would be f2f interaction for gr8r interaction. Still, a great program to engage those isolated from care #hadm5432 https://t.co/4BbzfOuxxA
@bernieV79 My main concern would be the patients themselves and constantly checking up on the readings. Pt's with BP issues will come into a hospital and say they checked their bp every hour for the last few hours and it never went down. You can't check it with such frequency.
This tech has great use to save pts time from visiting ER's for AF scares. The opportunity to capture real time tracings can aid pts with knowing when ER visits are needed for cardioversion or not. I'd like to see if the 30s can be extended and to add 911 alert maybe #hadm5432 https://t.co/8oiuRn75sn
@bernieV79 There are definitely kinks to work on. ER providers would need to be on board with the use of these readings as evidence of an afib incident. Bc it is hard to catch it in action. And if there was agreement on its use, patient education would definitely be key.
Having clinical input into HC IT is important to adapt to workflow needs so this exciting for the Health IT field, ensuring ease of use to make clinical operations run more smooth. #HADM5432 https://t.co/Ncxd1ogihG
HHS Secretary Alex Azar has thrown down a challenge to healthcare providers and drugmakers, demanding they tell patients what a service or product will cost before they receive it. https://t.co/m2wYdqXA2O
