If it has been more than a month or so since my last tweet, there's a good chance I'm dead. UPDATE: I died on August 12th. Future posts will be via my brother
This is Gregs brother Mike. I'm saddened to inform all of you that Greg died from cancer complications on August 12th, at 5:00 PM PST, at home, with music playing, his cat Bo nearby, with me attending. I suspect many of you will miss him as much as I will.
@kerrizor The best/most effective/maintainable test suites I've worked with had a balance of low/middle/high level automated tests.
I've also learned that if there is a very complicated and hard to maintain test, it is often critical, and driven by unreliable 3rd party dependencies.
@caladri Two unsolicited suggestions:
Don't buy the "American Standard" brand toilet, they are craptastic.
Get a seat with a heated washlet/bidet feature. Just paper is ... uncivilized, unsanitary & uncomfortable.
If you qualify for any of these positions, I highly recommend applying, and not just because I could use the referral bonus. Spaceflight Industries is a a great company to work for, and the work is interesting.

@mkarikas News from January 20, 2038:
Mars colony catastrophe!
Life support systems shutdown by failed Windows Update. No one is sure exactly what time yesterday the failure occurred, but for some reason, all 32 colonists were in a storage unit, which happened to be overflowing with pie.
People oft utter "bless you", which is too religious for me.
After hours of agony, I've come up with "may it never hurt when you pee", "may your urine be light yellow to clear" & "may your pee flow freely" as alternatives.
Probably a #KidneyStone or an #infection.

#Weatherman #1 published by @ImageComics
Excellent pacing.
Perfect balance between in media res and exposition.
18 billion reasons I'm looking forward to the next issue.
I've probably got about 2 months left. I would gladly trade all of that time for just one more day driving my car on a racetrack at the same level I was capable of 3 years ago, or enough energy to write and record one excellent progressive music masterpiece.
After months of waiting, I was finally tested today, which confirmed problems with executive function, mental endurance, fine motor control and attention span due to #chemotherapy
No treatment options are available from the Dr. that tested me, probably not from any other either.
With all of the side effects, there is almost no chance that I'll ever be healthy enough again to do Software Development or High Performance Driving. I can still make music, but it is rare that I have the energy to do so.
Prognosis given today: probably 2 months, almost certainly less than 6.
Prognosis given Dec. 2017: probably 6 to 9 months
Prognosis given Sep. 2017: weeks to months
Prognosis given Aug. 2016: probably 2 to 6 months
Prognosis given Jan. 2016: probably survive

Kill or be Killed, vol. 1 TPB (#1-4), 16, 17
I've been reading this series out of order as I find issues on sale. I strongly suspect that you can read #KillOrBeKilled in any random order, and it will tell the story in an interesting way.
