@MNDA_NI Disagree completely unfortunately ! There are no hotel rooms in the south of Ireland we have found with a hoist. Donegal’s answer to accessibility is just a few steps to key facilities just as room bathroom or restaurant. More needs to be done!
I’ve just signed a petition to ask the Government to make sure people with the SOD1 type of #MND can access #tofersen, a life-saving treatment. Can you sign too? https://t.co/iWxCzbX0yU
@limpbroozkit Brooke you are doing brilliant! You are the same wonderful person I admired in video 1. It’s awful what als can do. It took my mum so quickly. Her daily prayer was - everyday is a blessing. I’m so glad to be here.
You have also given inspiration to so many! ❤️❤️🙏🙏
🚨We're working to accelerate the development of new treatments for #ALS.
Read more about how our pioneering study, EXPERTS-ALS, aims to rapidly screen potential drugs for evidence that they can slow progression in people with ALS.

@AberdareNic@Keir_Starmer Completely true Nicola. Thinking about this was never on mum’s agenda, her determination and refusal to never never up. She often said it will never take her. It’s not the life she wanted. After she told me this we focussed on clinical trials and anything to help.
@AberdareNic Nicola I’ve said before burden is not what you are!!!!
It’s a blessing for care for a beautiful soul with mnd. It’s a privilege
We didn’t even recognise it as a disease. It’s a condition.
It would suit the government better if they released the trial data.
If people with MND can't clear their lungs they will die of infection. In England, a cough assist machine is available this keeps serious lung issues at bay. I have just lost a Scots friend who was told repeatedly that she didn't need cough assist. @MNDScotland she couldn't cough
@AberdareNic Very true Nicola. Mum always said there’s not much wrong with her. Even when admitted to hospital. You learn to treasure every day as a gift.
