Discussions continue on social media about the impressive performance of humanoid robots in the 400-meter race at the World Robot Games in Beijing.

Meanwhile, experts in China have noted that this victory demonstrated the advantages of integrating AI, as the running posture of the winning robot was entirely created by AI.

The robot itself developed this posture through reinforcement learning. The AI realized that wide arm movements overloaded the shoulder joints and overheated the servomotors, so it found a compromise: lowering the center of gravity, tilting the body, and keeping the arms close to the face. This energy-efficient method proved to be more stable on turns – as seen in the video, the Tiangong Omni robot leans almost to the ground, like a motorcyclist.
