bez has always been unproblematic until yesterday. what happened was a shock to me bc it was so out of his character. it was disappointing, but i know he regrets it, and i never doubt this gesture would eventually come from him. hopefully he learned from this.
atp they're not only stupid but also ignorant bc they don't even know/understand any motogp lore yet casually throw random theories here and there on an app called tiktok. fuck them all.
i hate liberty media as much as most people do, but blaming them for scrapping wildcards and second bikes in motogp 2027 is kinda funny, bc those were proposed by MSMA and IRTA. so if you want to blame liberty for giving it a green flag, make sure you blame msma & irta first.
idk why ppl attacking jack for saying t1 crash last sunday might be bc of RHD while some of the riders said the same thing.
and RHD has caused so many similar incident since 2018, so it's only normal that the riders think it was the culprit.
@miauquez davide has been a close friend of marc since forever and he constantly supported him during arm injury period at repsol honda, which was obvs a tough time for marc. pretty sure davide was referring to how marc got up since he joined ducati.
motogp fandoms truly live in different worlds. one day one fandom says one rider is dirty rider. one day another fandom says another rider is dirty rider.
truth is all riders are dirty in their own way. you guys will get it once you grow up ๐
monster will compensate him and there shouldnโt be something emotional about sponsorship, but idk two of the riders thatโve struggled with big injuries the last couple of years having to severe their ties with rb and the performance centre gives me a weird feeling
I've said my piece on why the other moto2 riders moving up deserve their place in motogp but it is hard to watch this every week and not feel for manu gonzalez
motogp riders who don't want to go to safety commission meetings... do they even know HOW the safety commission is there in the first place? do they even know the history behind it?? it's actually disrespectful of them for not attending.
marc has been vocal about union in 2022 when speed up racing fired their riders here and there, violating contracts in moto2. even the rookies thanked him for how he pushed other riders to speak up about young riders' salary. i'm not even surprised that he's pro-union.
PAUSE, IS MARC PUSHING FOR A UNION?
marc: "this won't change if the riders aren't united.ย we'll see what happens in the future, but i'm already trying to organize my commitments properly, because it's one of the most important things if you want to reduce risks."
carlos ezpeleta goingto motogp commentary booth on live feed yapping about catalunya controversies as if his statements would wash blood on dorna's hands.
@10IsRed yeah i agree. tbh i was kinda confused why marc is not in safety commission meetings regularly while he's been very vocal about riders' well-being (safety, salary, contracts etc). attending the meeting should be a bare minimum for these guys before talking big about union.
remember during le mans weekend motogp tried to sell 'le mans viral moment' by posting luca marini's moto2 crash.
they also used jack miller's 2017 crash at T3 EVERY SINGLE YEAR they went to le mans, when we thought we lost him forever. even jack himself felt so sick of it.
but then the plan fell off bc some of the riders think a union won't matter and some of others rumourly had an argument on how they could pay sylvain to do lead the union.
it's complicated but it'd be easier if these dumbass riders are not being egocentric for once ffs.
the riders who pro-union in 2022 wanted to take sylvain guintoli as one of the directors bc he understands racing and speaks english fluently.
they also nominated andrea dovizioso for it but i guess dovi was hesitant to accept it.
