Mi dispiace vedere il più bravo di tutti @AlbertFabrega scusarsi secondo me per il nulla
- non ha fatto/detto nulla di sbagliato
- non ha fatto nomi di nessuno
Non so mi dispiace
Per me lui è di gran lunga il migliore di tutti.
This'll be unpopular, but it's been six damn months now and I'm seething...
Six months of war, chaos, displacement, disease and looming famine, and the world scrolls past Sudan's suffering, the UN Security Council has barely met, and world leaders remain silent.
Six months ago, you were dying for democracy in the streets of your capital, on a promise of peace and political transition and international support. The least the world would do then to resolve that constitutional crisis was to give you a trilateral UN-AU-IGAD mechanism that helped produce this wholly unprecedented, unholy, regionalised civil war, a war in which even the capital has been bombed and sacked and raped. The most the world will do now that all hell has broken loose it seems is fund just a third of the humanitarian appeal for 25 million people in dire need—so which 17 million people in humanitarian need won't get any lifesaving assistance whatsoever? And whose fault is this? And why is no one doing anything about it? After six shameful months, this is what the international community so far has done for you. I mean, to you.
So, stand tall, civilians of Sudan, as it's plain that you're basically on your own now, neglected. Stand tall, and expect neither much help nor leadership from the outside world, for they have abandoned you. Stand tall, and don't wait to lead your own path, a path not premised on platitudes and paper-thin commitments and perpetrators' podiums. Stand tall, and keep heroically helping one another, and aid organisations and networks still striving to help too will eventually follow. Stand tall, for no one in this statist, racist international system appears to be truly acting in your best interests. At least not with any serious effort. I wish things were different, and they can be, the international community can decide to care enough to help, but this is what it is right now. To tell you anything else would be dangerously dishonest.
Six damn months now.
So in the next six months, I'd like to see Sudanese civilians be given space to take the lead, to begin to set the agenda for the international humanitarian response - not the broken multilateral system, not the broke UN-led response, and not the warring parties. To do this, you need to stand tall, and stand together.
Marc Lamont Hill puts every interviewer to shame by forcing Israels former Foreign Minister to admit that Israel is deliberately starving and bombing a captive civilian population to get what they want. A War Crime. Not one British journalist has done this
"The sociological/psychological fallout of AI is not decades away. The only thing that can save civilization from utter destruction? Basic English grammar. Hear me out, guys."

📢Death announcement!
Abdo was burnt by traffickers 5months ago,he was admitted to Tripoli central hospital where he underwent his treatment which wasn't enough. @UNHCRLibya had enough time to evacuate him for a better treatment but he was neglected until he died today.

What should we make of Europe's schizophrenic refugee response? In the week we welcomed 1.2m refugees from Ukraine do we really need to watch this young man being battered for climbing an EU border fence? Yes 🧵
A look back to Dec 6 2021.
A sad reality, as everyone sitting in the background is now held in #Ain_zara prison. Being abused, used as a workforce for the militias, forced to work day & night. We are but only abandoned by the @UNHCRLibya and the international community.
After arresting 600 @RefugeesinLibya, Libyan authorities are searching for the refugees' spokespersons @HassanZ91825062 and David Yambio. The ministry is led by a known criminal. David and Hassan are in danger! Learn more: https://t.co/Cl1gr3VEWt
If @UNHCRLibya wasn't able to protect, provide human basic necessities for only 1% of its registered population, how is it ready to handle 40000 refugees? It must be held accountable for these chaos. We call on them to completely denounce these Refugees& that's fine instead of this
Libya shouldn't be above the international law applicable in Africa and the fundamental human rights including that of of refugees, the right to seek asylum and the rights to life. @UNHCRLibya@EU_Commission is this what pleases you most? These people asked for nothing but safety
