this struggle against 'experts' and 'institutions' is, after the millions of deaths, the worst part of the pandemic. Leading to so many conspiracy theories that many find believable. Sad and frustrating. The ones I have spoken with cannot be convinced of the truth.

I think an argument can be made that much like yelling FIRE in a crowded theatre is not protected free speech due to potential for injury to others, publishing something on the internet that a reasonable person might be injured following the advice. The author or poster should be liable for financial damages. Don't know if our current laws support this but if they don't the laws need to be changed.
