Update 2nd Alarm 400 M St SW. Fire knocked down. We have made rescues where necessary and sheltering others in place. Some rescues via ladders. Considerable smoke on several floors. #DCsBravest continue searching and assisting residents in distress.

This evening at 7 PM @TheWharfDC honored first responders and medical workers by sounding the fog horn on the District Pier. This was followed by other boaters sounding their horns and cheering. #DCsBravest thank you all for this nautical expression of gratitude.
