Last month, Swiss television broadcasters Swisscom and Sunrise removed Al Jazeera Arabic from their platforms due to Al Jazeera's broadcasting of Hamas propaganda.

In May 2025, Switzerland banned Hamas as well as groups that act on behalf of the terror organization.

Shurat Hadin just filed the first lawsuit against UNRWA on behalf of the Samerano family, whose son Jonathan was kidnapped to Gaza by a UNRWA employee on October 7.
