Happy to be Xing. I was a contractor for Twitter v1 (ruby) and then banned from Twitter 2.0 and I hate #censorship and AI-moderated content. Not a fan of the "guardrails" #openai has put in #chatgpt either.

Been busy coding a print on demand mural website for a client and I haven't been able to write or X, however I use #chatgpt for about 80% of the code and most of the debugging. NodeJS, NextJS, MongoDB, document validation schemas instead of models.

I should write an article or two on how I code using #openai if you are interested in this topic. 30 years coding and chatgpt really speeds up my ability to produce code!

Large Language models like GPT are essential "document autocomplete" - The prompt is fed in as the primary source, and. the transformer works with the Neural Network to autocomplete words.

Everything it writes is essentially a hallucination. It doesn't have any knowledge, it has language patterns.

LLMs won't become sentient or end the world. They are a tool, a hammer won't take over the world either.

@w_liu_ and in gpt-4 they have blocked most of this as well. It refused to store my "anniversary". It seems like OpenAI is so afraid of journos that they are castrating their own "tool".....
