@Stocks_Stones That would certainly explain why the stock has been range-bound for so long despite record cash generation quarter after quarter. Great sleuthing.
@yasminalombaert "Our allies have lost a lot of trust". No, it's worse - your allies don't have ANY trust. No one even wants to watch World Cup because of where it takes place. Literally had an Italian friend tell me yesterday he was happy Italy did not qualify to play in such a s**thole.
@onecentinvest If this closet communist wants to see what 'public ownership' looks like, he should just make a trip to Europe and take a train across the continent. Most railway companies are state-owned and the service is goddam awful throughout. A truly communist experience for this comrade.
@Ceazar_Black The thesis now is the strongest it's ever been. You have to wonder how dumb the prior mngmt must have been to pursue the dovitinib blind alley while they had the stenoparib gem on their hands. But we wouldn't be here with $25m market cap if they did it in the reverse order.
@Ceazar_Black Amazing research. There is so much indirect evidence out there now...cheap non-dilutive financing combined with a buy-back. Fast Track. 2nd fully funded trial. DRP patent. Lonza. I feel the thesis is now materially better than it ever was. What an absolute coiled spring.
@markemerritt This must be the best quarterly
letter yet - at times reads like poetry. "We are not issuers of shares, we are buyers". Confident tone, but no swagger. Matter of fact. Love this management team.
@Ceazar_Black Great insights! So plan A is - use matured OS from Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 data for ORR/CBR. If this is not good enough for FDA, then Plan B - let OS data mature from Cohort 2. I always somehow thought Phase 3 would be necessary either way...idn't realize it could be skipped!
@BlokeOak57182 Great find and excellent article. Buy a conservatively valued share in Starling and get all else incl. Klarna for free. Right down my alley. Still a few puffs left in this 3-year wind-down cigar butt.
@Ceazar_Black Apart from aligning him even more with us, he totally deserves to share in the (hopefully huge) upside for all the work he has already done for the company.
@Stocks_Stones Amazing that price action keeps ignoring the flawless execution (and impressive cash build up) q after q. Mr Market still digesting the violent rerating from 2-4c insolvency area, despite the ongoing buyback.
@RyanDetrick Cathie Wood deserves the place surely for her all time classic post where she explained that even thought Ark had underperformed every other ETF on Earth, the tax losses she created in the process will shield investors from taxes for centuries to come
@onecentinvest@OpenAI ChatGPT won't let you research cannabis but pretty sure that one day it will happily help a djihadist concoct a deadly pathogen in his home lab.
@drennan10 I was reassured time and time again by some that the BAT backing and deep pockets will ultimately translate into a monopoly, and when I offered my basket of lean & mean alternatives like Auxly, Rubicon, Decibel, I was scoffed at re their solvency. how times change...
@Ceazar_Black Excellent thread! I bet there is at least one person at Eisai who thinks by now they made a mistake not to push further into oncology. They can still buy back the license based on the 10k - for the right price!
