Martinelli got 5GA in 1,000 minutes.

@ltarsenal He’s at best a decent squad player. Works hard, cares about the club, but incredibly limited in terms of what he can do.

If selling him enables us to purchase an elite LW who can offer 15+ GA per season, we should do it.

@_PhilCosta VAR, and refereeing overall, is not a perfect science clearly. I think it was the right call, but equally it could have easily gone against us.

We’ve seen worse calls in other games and involving other teams so I don’t think this is “proof” that refs want us to win the league

@Aernath I agree that monetization is frustrating but it works, it makes them money, so they see no reason to remove it.

Outside of the game sub, literally nothing important is gated behind money tho.

@Aernath Wow is many things to many people. Some just raid, some just pvp, some just decorate their house.

Why can’t these features and game modes exist for those who enjoy them?

And if blizzard had internal data that not enough people engage, they’d kill it off

@footalyse There is no way to reduce the number of games top clubs play, there is too much money tied up in TV deals, sponsorships, etc.

The only solution is bigger squads and more rotation - otherwise you'll basically destroy players' bodies by the time they are 25.

@footalyse We don’t know the fitness of our other attackers. Not sure if a front line that includes a half injured Trossard, an ineffective Jesus and Saka coming back from injury is a better option tbh
