@DJSnM Wasn’t even thinking about that when I came inside (to warmup). But, a minute or two later, there was a soft boom/thump (very soft compared to a RTLS BOOM here about 9 mi from LZ-4).
@NASASpaceflight Absolutely gorgeous from here in Lompoc. Plasma track looked like contrail. Violet colors near the spacecraft. Almost straight overhead at about 0032 PST. Yee ha!
@DJSnM And wait 'til you're on your first solo cross country. At night. IMC. And the "oh you won't get any holds"? Throw one of those in, too! Have fun on your training adventure!
@DJSnM I got my COM INST in the '90s. The glass in the sim panel was protecting the classic "steam guage" instruments. I believe it had a flight director, but that was about it. The record of the flight was made using a 2D plotter.
@justinrayharvey@MacRumors That is not Apple Pay later. That is Apple Card Monthly installments, which is only through the Apple Store and is not going away.
The little cam that could.
This is the camera that toughed it out for us to watch that forward flap hang on and show Ship 29 complete its mission. 🔥🚀🔥
@NASASpaceflight
@DJSnM We're so used to seeing Falcon 9 boosters landing that it's hard to grasp the scale of what we're seeing in the clip! (Like I'm anything akin to "used to" those.)
Thanks for the excellent IFT-4 coverage!
