I post a lot about APTE, so hereโs something a bit different. I also co-translate this: https://t.co/jB6Pbr9dox
Some novels are easy to read but hard to translate; others feel messy to read but somehow clean. Welp, TTP is the second type. Iโm curious what actually matters to u.
3 months ago, I trained Claude to write in my voice.
I was so enticed by saving time that I spent weeks on the perfect prompt. I called it โAI co-pilotingโ to make myself feel better about the process.
But the name didnโt help the pain.
I did a dummy run with 3 weeks of social media content.
One day, I logged on to Twitter and read one of my posts (my VA schedules my posts).
I was ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ณ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐ฆ๐ฅ.
I thought she wrote it!
Even though I edited myself, after a couple of weeks in the scheduler, I had distance from my work. And I could see clear as day that it sucked.
Itโs not that the writing was bad.
On paper, it was close to perfect. But that was the problem. It sounded like everyone else with a $20/month subscription. I had lost my voice. My emotion. My pizzaz.
And these qualities are what make your content effective.
Many creators believe they donโt have what it takes. So they think using AI is a smarter solution. But this is a short-term move that causes long-term pain. You end up lumped in with the crowd, and you never develop the skill of persuasive communication.
AI may be easy. It may be fast. It may be cheap.
But it is YOU who ends up paying the high price. Because while the content game has changed, guess who hasnโt?
๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐ซ.
The reason we consume is the same: to ๐ง๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ญ something. And nobody can create emotion in your reader like you can. Even if you train AI to write like you, it is NOT you. Putting a third party between you and your reader is like sticking a rubber between two electric sparks:
You kill the connection.
Instead of giving up on writing well, double down. Be the most real in your space. Share cool stories. Test interesting ideas. Be vulnerable and insightful.
People will thank you for it, peers will connect with you for it, and your customers will pay you for itโbecause people want to work with real people.
Nobody can compete with you at being you. Donโt throw away that advantage.

Time is ticking, so be quick! :3
People can help you in many ways throughout life, but there are two things nobody can give you: curiosity and drive. They must be self-supplied.
If you are not interested and curious, all the information in the world can be at your fingertips, but it will be relatively useless. If you are not motivated and driven, whatever connections or opportunities are available to you will be rendered inert.
Now, you won't feel curious and driven about every area of life, and that's fine. But it really pays to find something that lights you up. This is one of the primary quests of life: to find the thing that ignites your curiosity and drive.
There are many recipes for success. There is no single way to win. But nearly all recipes include two ingredients: curiosity and drive.
