It's almost that time of year when my wife sits next to me on the sofa and glances at me like I'm a piece of shit. Because of what Alan Rickman did to Emma Thompson in a fictional film, released over 20 years ago.
Mackenzie Bezos was the breadwinner and often sole income earner in the family for over decade. She worked to provide for her children and husband and built Amazon with him after she finished work and put their kids to bed.
She was the provider, the housewife and his business partner.
Their success was funded and supported by her, one could argue that she gave him half of what she worked to build in their divorce.
She was entitled to half of their wealth, no judge would have ever said otherwise and neither did her ex husband.
Disappointed to see a dog with cropped ears win best in show.
Cropping ears is cruel - there's no benefit to the dog and it's a procedure carried out purely for cosmetic/fashion reasons.

“It doesn’t appear to be beneficial for a child under the age of two or even three to be in a nursery environment…long-term studies indicate that extensive time spent in non-maternal care in early life has negative effects that persist into adulthood.” https://t.co/nB1EgcPFqe
I'm a delivery driver for a supermarket. I've had 2 incidents that make me think the world has gone nuts.1)There were 8 items out of stock/ subbed and the person actually cried.2) I was 20 minutes later than planned and the customer tried to get me fired. It's groceries ffs.
Because comparisons are being made...
One of the reasons Diana refused security was because she thought the RPOs were spying on her - which it would come out was true.
She also thought people were listening in on her phone calls - which it would come out was also true.
Harry just secured a public apology and admission of wrongdoing.
William in a scripted statement referred to his mother as paranoid.
That's the difference.
@clhubes I found a kid-friendly ballet (45 mins long) for my 4 year old over Christmas and she did love it 🥰 but yes yes yes to MacDonalds play areas. How are they sleeping on that? 😩
@MartinSLewis We have individual accounts and then a joint account for everything related to house, cars and kids. I budget monthly and work out how much needs to go into the joint. We pay into the joint account at % of net monthly income. We save from our individual accounts.
