Dr. Huch collaborated with Dr. D'Anne Rudden on her podcast, The Hearing Journal, to talk about sharing hearing health care with low-income patients and how to trust the right staff to keep your practice running healthfully.💙#Podcast#GraceHearingCenter#TucsonAudiologist
Meniere’s Disease occurs in 12 of 1000 people. Patients often tell us, “I was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease,” and they’re still having dizzy episodes. Other causes of dizziness, like vestibular migraines, can mimic Meniere’s Disease symptoms. #GraceHearingCenter#Nonprofit
Did you know that Grace Hearing Center has been around for 8 years? Back in 2016 I brought my dreams to life and started this non-profit here in Tucson hoping to continue to change lives. Boy, what a journey it's been! #GraceHearingCenter#TucsonNonprofit#TucsonAudiologist
Do you have any burning questions for us at Grace Hearing Center? From how to become a patient, where do our hearing aids come from, or maybe something about how hearing works? We would love to hear your questions. #QuestionTime#WeAnswerQuestions#GraceHearingCenter#Nonprofit
Don’t store your hearing aids in the bathroom! Bathrooms are more humid, causing issues with the electronics in your hearing aids over time.🦻Tip: set up a hearing aid station n your room where you can keep your hearing aids, case, batteries, or charger/cords. #GraceHearingCenter
The best first step is to wear them as much as possible! Your brain can’t get used to all of the new incoming sounds if you’re not wearing hearing aids.👍The more you wear them, the more you can relay to your audiologist what is going well or needs adjusting. #TucsonNonprofit
Hearing aids often last 3-7 years! The duration depends on how well you take care of the hearing aid and the daily wear and tear. 🦻Routine cleaning at home and coming in to see us a few times a year for a tune-up can help prolong the life of your hearing aids! #TucsonAudiologist
Do you or someone you love struggle to hear and just "live with it" because hearing aids seem way out of your finances? Please reach out to us and we will work with you. Grace Hearing Center works on a sliding fee scale.

Putting a right hearing aid into the left ear is like wearing shoes on the wrong feet. They may go on, but won't work correctly! Hearing aids that go behind your ear have wiring or tubes that are meant to go into the right or left ear canal. Switching sides will twist/kink them.
We at Grace Hearing Center were able to partner with the Pima County Sheriff's Department and other community partners to perform hearing screenings at their Badges and Backpacks event. We screened 58 children!! #BadgesAndBackpacks#GraceHearingCenter#Community#TucsonNonprofit
Some think that hearing aids will “fix” their hearing. Hearing aids can't repair damage to the hearing nerve. They can help provide a better signal, but since they can’t fix the actual damage to the hearing nerve, they won’t restore your hearing to “normal.”#TucsonAudiologist
I'm Dr. Judy Huch, proud founder of Grace Hearing Center. We opened our doors in 2016 and I truly love what I do! Helping my patients hear their best is the most rewarding career path I could have ever imagined. #FemaleLeader#TucsonNonprofit#gracehearingcenter
Some hearing aids are “locked." Hearing aids bought at Costco, Miracle Ear, Audibel, and Beltone hearing aids have software that requires you to see a specific audiologist or hearing instrument specialist to change the programming, limiting options for programming. #Audiology
A misconception we hear is...“Using hearing aids makes you weak or dependent" Wearing hearing aids is a proactive step towards managing hearing loss and improving communication. It does not imply weakness or dependence. #Independence#TucsonAudiology#GraceHearingCenter
