So, I stumbled across this while I was surfing the net & thought to share to females, as well as lighten up the tense mood that the #lockdownextension 😔
This excuse that society gives us in order that we bury our dreams should be laughed at, not taken seriously🤷♀️
@BlessingCh73232 I would do the same if I were in his shoes. There are some things I can’t manage , they are red flags. If you can leave someone’s (first impression) space unkempt, then it must be your “usual life”. There’s nothing to talk about. We shouldn’t be wasting each other’s time.
@it_Rutie Lol.. you mean the rapists and the rape apologists? Cos the last time I checked, they were the ones who got triggered. Not “Nigerians”. I’m proudly Nigerian and I stand by her!
@officialABAT ..and the abductors? What has been done to them? Why does it look like there’s a relationship between you (the government) and these people?. Like some sort of agreement to release some of the abducted people in order to “pacify the people and assuage their grievances.”
It was all I needed to be a VOCAL FEMINIST!
…and when I read about how Jesus defended women’s rights in the Bible, I knew I had to stand right beside him in that light, wearing the PROUD #FEMINIST badge!
To be honest, whenever I read the Old Testament, I feel a lot of anger for the men in the medieval age.
Frankly, the ONLY reason I am a Christian today is because of Jesus! But then again, Jesus is the ESSENCE of #Christianity.
…because what is this?!!!
….lend my voice.
As a matter of fact, I lived a very sheltered life.
But, all YOU need, is EMPATHY. I only needed to imagine myself being in the position of these women. I was furious on behalf of women that went through hell in the hands of the patriarchy.
@Sarkinijebu@ChyChybless@YellzDan No brah, don’t bring Nigerian women into this! All over the world, it’s always been the men disgracing the entire country. Don’t even try to do that!
