Barb was a delightful person. I was so lucky to have a friend like her. I firmly believe I wouldn't be where I am today without her guidance and her support. I'm going to miss her during every game.

We have some terrible news. One of our faithful members and dearest friends Barb Goebel is currently on life support and does not have much more time with us. Barb's love of this club and the community that makes it special was unrivaled.

In my frequent trips back and forth between Kansas City and Des Moines, Barb's house was always a place to stop during a storm. I wave at the exit every time.
