(what is 'Wordapalooza' you ask? @InkwellsAnvils 's annual write-a-thon right after Easter where you take a break from your main WIP and work on anything that excites the Muse. And I am so excited to add more to this project that has swiftly stolen my heart)

@cecsquared True that, I love me a good narrative podcast. Especially ones like @PseudoPod_org that narrate and podcast stories submitted by working writers
I think interest in short fiction is waning. Read an article discussing how the expected path for emerging authors used to be short fiction --> magazine publications --> publishing debut novel. In recent years we've diverged. But short fiction is a great teacher & worthy craft
A fun little short story of mine “The Ewe, the Yew & The Dragon Blue” was published in “Quills & Tales” magazine today. If you’re looking for a fun little post-work read tonight, I got you covered:

I used to feel nothing but fear & trembling after submitting my writing anywhere. But after about a year of submitting my work aggressively, I'm pleased to say I now get a little serotonin rush every time I sent a piece I wrote off somewhere for consideration.
Once again in a binge-reading phase. Checking out 4 audiobooks at once from the library like a covetous, hoarding book wyrm. Either these will all get returned unread, or I will do nothing but devour them all within two weeks. There is no in between.
