⭐A New Chapter for STEM in Malaysia⭐

🚀We just launched the National Master Trainers Programme for STEM Changemakers with the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia, and it’s a game-changer for girls and young women in STEM.💡

👭50 incredible participants came together from across the country.
📚They learned, shared, and trained to lead the STEM Changemakers curriculum nationwide.
🌊The Master Trainers will now train the next wave of leader facilitators, creating a ripple effect that will reach thousands of girls.

This isn’t just a training. It’s the foundation of a nationwide movement to empower girls and young women to see themselves as innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders of the future.🌎❇️

Exciting updates from Girls for Green Energy! 🌏✨

We’re excited to share that all three G4GE Member Organisations—Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan —have officially kicked off the project locally! 💡✨

Through Siemens Energy’s Minecraft Education Planet Rescuers game and creative offline activities designed by WAGGGS, girls are discovering the world of renewable energy and sustainability through engaging, meaningful experiences that empower and inspire. 💡🌱

Behind the scenes, dedicated leaders and guiders have completed three rounds of training to prepare for this incredible journey. Now, it’s time to put that learning into action and inspire a greener future, one game (and one activity!) at a time. 🌱💪

Yesterday, we hosted a World Thinking Day 2025 #WTD2025 #OurWAGGGSStory event for 80 girls ranging from 5 to 17 years old. We collected donations for the @wagggsworld World Thinking Day Fund and was acknowledged for our donation!

Earlier this month, WAGGGS World Board Chair Candela Gonzales and representatives from the Big Six participated in a high-level meeting of Ministers responsible for Youth Affairs and other high-level government representatives at the #ECOSOCYouth Forum 2025.

The meeting was co-hosted by the @UN Youth Office and fostered an interactive and intergenerational space for dialogue on policies, programmes, and good practices on youth at the global, regional, and national levels.

We are glad Candela had the opportunity to share learnings from our programmes, with guiding at their heart, that place girls and young women at the forefront of solving some of the most pressing issues of our times.

You may have heard of the recent Minecraft movie. But do you know @wagggsworld also has a programme using Minecraft Education for girls to learn about renewable and sustainable energy, paired with an offline learning pack? Thanks again @Siemens_Energy for the partnership!

🎬The Minecraft movie is out today, and while it’s an epic adventure on screen, we have our own Minecraft-style journey happening at WAGGGS!

Through our Girls for Green Energy (G4GE) project, we are using @Siemens_Energy's "Planet Rescuers" game on Minecraft Education to help young girls and women explore renewable energy and sustainability in a fun, interactive way.😍🧪🖥️

On the occasion of the Minecraft movie release, our Member Organisations in Singapore and Hong Kong are bringing Minecraft to life in their exciting ways! In Singapore, Young Adults (YAs) will introduce leaders to the game and its energy-focused activities. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, the G4GE project is launching right after a movie screening, with Siemens Energy team members and their families joining the experience.💪
So while the Minecraft movie dives into a world of creativity and adventure, we are using that same spirit to power real-world change! Stay tuned for updates from our project Member Organisations Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
