“You’ve changed” is the greatest compliment you can receive from someone who used to have control over you and has lost their grip, especially when it’s clear they haven’t changed at all.
What He has purposed for your life will come to pass. You have to trust His timing and trust His ways. He may take you through some desert seasons.

A Prayer for Today!!
“Father, thank You that nothing and no one can upset Your plans for my life. Thank You that You have an ‘after this’ for difficult seasons and my story doesn’t end there. Help me to declare that You live and are on the throne in the tough times. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
If you’re part of a family that defends the family over the one person speaking up about being hurt, you need to understand when that one person leaves, you may be the next in line to get all the blame so they keep their dysfunction and denial intact.
Having a family member protect a person who has abused you is called betrayal. Having the person who abused you be a family member is called “No thanks, I’ll find new people and rebuild from there.”
Never trust a person who hangs out with the same people they talk about. They talk about them to you. They talk about you to them. No character whatsoever!!!
Everything serves a purpose, even the waiting.
Trust the process.
Pay attention to the delays and detours.
What is He teaching you?
Seek the LORD for understanding...
and watch the beautiful process unfold.
Once an introvert leaves, they leave forever. Do they miss you? Listen. The way they've mastered detachment is scary. They go total monk mode on you. Cold. Silent. Absolutely stoic. Trust me, they can act like they never knew you. Like ever.
Feeling sorry for an abuser is not compassion-it’s enabling.
Asking those who were hurt to consider their abusers past is not understanding-it’s enabling.
Putting the wellbeing of an abuser before the healing of who they’ve hurt is not healing-it’s enabling.
Abusers go to great lengths to remind you of the good things they’ve done for you when you begin to hold them accountable. If they won’t acknowledge the ways they’ve hurt you, you don’t need to acknowledge the ways they think they’ve loved you.
