Another awesome year in the books!
Thank you so, so much to everyone who drank from the firehose with us at #TheGradingConference, especially the presenters and panelists, and extra especially our keynote speakers @LindsayMasland and @gathwaegl!
I am thoroughly hydrated from drinking from the firehose of #TheGradingConference hosted by @Grading4Growth for the last two days. I also stole some hubcaps while I was there. Now I just need to digest and figure out what to do with all of it.
Heard at #TheGradingConference hosted by @Grading4Growth: The "Due Date" in our learning management systems should really be "Best By" dates. Due dates are somewhat arbitrary.
So much cool stuff at @Grading4Growth conference! Having trouble keeping up with the tweeting. Meghan Owenz's Collaborative Syllabus starts by explaining to students what can change and what can't. Great example of the transparency and communication that others have recommended.

Prof. T. @gathwaegl Gaines' Keynote opens today's @Grading4Growth. They offer great examples of how to align values with reality. For example, what if you are an ungrader but can't do ungrading with a particular class? What can you do beyond the grading scheme?
