This is dangerous twisting of Scripture that is far, far away from biblical truth.
This is the sort of manipulation of the faithful that led to the Reformation. In fact, this is “another gospel.”
Stay far away from anything like this!
Keir Starmer addresses the grooming gangs (parody, so perfectly legal still in the UK, for now):
"Good evening, fellow Britons. I stand before you today, not as the Prime Minister who once held the reins of the Crown Prosecution Service, but as a man who has seen the error of his ways—much like one might notice they've accidentally worn their socks inside out.
We've had some, shall we say, 'interesting' discussions about the grooming gangs that have plagued our communities. Now, I've heard the whispers, the shouts, and yes, even the tweets from Elon Musk—whom I've been told is rather influential on that social media platform, X. But let's not get bogged down in specifics, shall we?
When I was at the helm of the CPS, we had this quaint idea that perhaps, just perhaps, we should prosecute those guilty of heinous crimes. But, oh, the complexity of it all! We were so busy not being racist that we might have, just might have, overlooked a few... well, let's call them 'cultural misunderstandings'.
But fear not! We're on it now. We've had our 'Road to Damascus' moment, and I can assure you, the approach has changed. We've moved from the 'if we don't see it, it's not there' policy to a 'let's throw the book at them, but gently, because we're still very progressive' strategy.
Now, I've been accused of being 'complicit' in this scandal. I say, nonsense! I was merely a steward of justice, navigating the choppy waters of political correctness with the grace of a swan—albeit one with its head under water for too long.
So, what's our plan? We'll have an inquiry, or perhaps several, because if there's one thing we love more than solving problems, it's talking about solving them. We'll call it the 'Inquiry into Why We Didn't Have an Inquiry Sooner'.
We will address this with the same vigor we've shown in reducing NHS waiting lists—by promising to do better next time. No more will we allow cultural sensitivities to cloud our judgment; we'll just find new, less controversial sensitivities to cloud it instead.
And to those victims who've been let down, I extend my deepest apologies—delivered with the sincerity of a politician at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. We will protect you, support you, and ensure justice is served... eventually.
In closing, let me assure you, under my leadership, we will confront these issues head-on, but with our eyes half-closed, because, after all, we must remain sensitive to the nuances of our multicultural society.
Thank you, and let's hope by the next election, we've moved on to a less awkward topic. Like, perhaps, the weather."
A West Sussex hospice has been forced to cut back on services and make 40 people redundant due to high costs.
St Catherine's Hospice, in Crawley, has 24 beds on site but it can only operate with 12 due to financial restraints.
