Heading home from the @karnivool gig in Dublin… one of the best I’ve been to in years! Please come back again, that was epic…new album in October! 💥 #karnivool
Dear @susie_dent and all, given that a seller of things is a grocer, is there (or has there ever been) the verb “to groce”? It sounds like there should be, but I’m not sure it exists… would love to be enlightened, thanks! 👍 #grocer#words
#RishabhPant plays like #harrybrook but the difference is that Brook is much much much much better. When Pant gets his average up near 60 and he becomes second only to the Don in away tests, we can have a conversation…
Question for #ornithologists and #birdwatching people: Just watching a seagull pad the grass to encourage worms to rise to the surface. Assume they are mimicking rainfall, but how did seagulls inherit this behaviour? Assume they do this on beaches? Seems on grass as well.
Looking forward to tomorrow and for my 13th year of judging @BTYSTE at @TheRDS. Always a brilliant few days - I’m sure I’ll be seeing more brilliant projects. Good luck to everyone taking part. I’ll be seeing some of you at your stands tomorrow! #BTYSTE24
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t all incorrect off side decisions the result of human error, regardless of whether VAR has been used or not? OK Juergen, let’s replay every single match with a bad off-side decision! 🤦♂️ #bbcfootball
@susie_dent Hi Susie, why is it that some words ending with -ing can be pluralised (e.g., lashings) but others cannot? Are there any hard and fast grammatical rules, or is it simply based on convention? Thanks!! #ing
A great atmosphere, and wonderful science @BTYSTE today. Congratulations to the @scienceirel special awards winners Sebastian Galvin, Julian Lewandowski and Evan Wynne from @SPSSutton for engaged research on coastal flood defences.
