@ruth_wishart @BBCNews SO events in 1990 and 2005 were not World Games, currently taking place in Berlin. WG have never been held in Britain. Issue is that huge numbers of Scottish SO athletes denied the opportunity to take part again due to regions withdrawing from SOGB.

@EamonnONeill @ruth_wishart SO European Summer Games that was held in Glasgow in 1990. SO World Games have indeed never been held in Britain. More importantly will likely never be held in Scotland again since Scottish regions have withdrawn from SO organisation which IMO is a travesty.

Pretty strong comments from the Welsh Climate Minister on the 'No Glass' veto of the UK Govt. Julie James says the UK Govt is acting as the English Govt on the issue and that the UK Internal Market Act does not allow one nation to veto the others.
