You know what’s funny?
We lost Gundogan, our treble winning, clutch goal scoring club captain.
We lost Mahrez, former PFA POTY, and our only natural winger.
We lost Laporte, one of the best ball playing CBs in the world.
We then missed out on our top midfield targets in Bellingham and Rice. Then Paqueta.
We replaced the three veterans with a 21 year old CB and made him a LB, a 21 winger from a “weaker” league, a “washed” midfielder from Chelsea and a “panic buy” from Wolves…
Kevin De Bruyne’s hamstring snapped in half and Haaland, the best striker in the world was injured for much of the season as well.
… and we STILL won the league.
Clearly a dig at Man City & a bit of fun. But this fella's football knowledge is limited.
- City were formed before Arsenal
- City won their first FA Cup 26 years before Arsenal
- they both won their first European trophy 1970
- Arsenal spent much more than City last summer
City have sent out a number of legal warning letters to demand they cease and desist or action will now be taken. The Club are doing this from a position of strength and knowledge.
71 per cent of the Earth is covered by water. The other 29 per cent is seemingly covered by football finance and law 'experts' who got their qualifications from a @LFC, @ManUtd or @Arsenal Christmas cracker. Pull the other one!
