@MoneySavingExp My mum bought a tumble dryer when my little brother was born in 1971 (for drying Terry nappies)
Recently the filter cover broke, due to the plastic becoming brittle.
We've not tried to get a new cover for her 😀

@Peter_Henley @ChrisGPackham My teacher wife brought chrysalises home at Easter - I set up an old mobile to record a time lapse for her class. I excitedly checked every day several times. Just as curious as the 4 year olds at school. Was also envious of the class when they released the butterflies. I'm 55

@MartinSLewis I'm hard of hearing so don't answer calls. Though I do appreciate the idea of having a bit of fun with these callers. I use Google call screening (might only be available on Pixel) so I get to read the incoming call. Ironically being deaf I'm actually protected from scam calls

@GuinnessGB There are plenty of us who really don't like alcohol (not alcoholic or anything, we simply don't like it). I do like Guinness and 0.0 is best of both worlds - great taste and non of the alcohol.

@NoContextBrits @piersmorgan My local Spar used to offer a free "Sun" - I think they have now given up trying to give it away 🤣 cheaper than firewood or toilet paper though, so very helpful with the cost of living.

@s4r4h5 @NoContextBrits Turned it off on my work phone, because I don't need it going off on 2. But in reality the actual alarm will likely be extremely rare, so what's the problem? A test is essential for any roll out of a new service. Personally I think most people will be curious of the noise.

@cymru_79 I found out about 4 years ago, that I have it. Not weird at all. You're probably more of a logical thinker. My wife is probably opposite, with a strong mind's eye, and is very creative.

@CovertShores @qikipedia Ha ha there might be some truth in that. I'm Aphantasiac and work in IT, apparently it's very common for computer geeks, we tend to be logical thinkers instead of visual... So maybe common in accountancy too.
