We've made GUI POS & Wallet application work with the RTA testnet, so people can start testing and playing with the functionality based on the Point-of-sale use case.
(currently available on ARM64 Android devices only)
Buttoning up the RTA release - currently working through POS and wallet apps integration issues. You can see more in terms of progress in Github repo.
The goal right now is to get end-to-end RTA workflow done with the POS/client apps integration. Getting close.
RTA Dev Update:
We have done a lot of rework on the POS (point-of-sale) client in order to make it work with the improvements that were made as part of the upcoming M14/RTA overhaul release. https://t.co/xjWTqEhk1W
Lyra dev got 200 #TPS on a low end CPU (Intel NUC). Probably double that on a mid-range CPU. Goal of 1k TPS per CPU is well within reach! Power of #DAG blocklist!
Last update clocked in Lyra TPS at 40/CPU before discovering the benchmarking tool was bottlenecking. Power of better #blockchain of #blockchains#DAG architecture and great effort by @JFKWN! https://t.co/aXti3LkgjQ
"Hello, latest update from Lyra dev. The Lyra system have a serious problem. I have to tell everyone the very truth. When I was doing the #TPS testing, I found the benchmark program is not FAST enough!!! 🤣🤣🤣" #goodone
Oh, and we're up to 16 authorizer nodes on Lyra testnet!
LYRA Dev. Update: New Release

What's new:
change the messaging system back to p2p network
fixed race condition which desynced nodes
Upgrade: required
Update on GRAFT PoW/PoS development:
After significant refactoring, the SN P2P communication seems to be working properly now in the non-M14 branch, along with RTA workflow. Next step is to merge and test it with M14 branch - will start on that tomorrow.

@Meeple_r_people There are now two parallel technology tracks, same use case. Lyra seems to be moving a lot faster from the development standpoint and it transcends limitations of the original technology stack. If Lyra proves out viable, all the GRFT coins will be converted to Lyra gas (same su

From Joe Fowler (Lyra DAG Dev): Lyra Permissionless has just hit a major milestone: first consensus commit. I hope the testnet will be up and run in Jan 2020. If anyone has interest in the developing of Lyra, welcome to the bot channel: https://t.co/RIXpFrbl32 . Merry Christmas!
Some initial use cases that are being considered include loyalty programs support, decentralized marketplace with built-in payment system, stable coin platform, perks programs, etc.
Lyra Network (GRAFT’s #DAG) repo has now been made public in an effort to promote further cooperation and interest from the community at large.
