@MengTo Thank you! I tried my hand at this yesterday too with a colosseum. Still a long ways to go with the textures on the building, etc. but it awesome to see it come to life so quickly.
I think it’s easy to be lazy. I have caught myself doing that and now I am breaking that reaction. I have an idea, I prompt it into existence, then I spend time refining it to work OPTIMALLY. I’m also getting others involved so we don’t default to “just ship it”.
when it's so easy to prompt something into existence, it's important to take time refining the idea/workflow. just because it looks like your design system doesn't mean it works for your users.
@Shwinnabego I’ve been doing a version of this where I speak what I’m looking for the agent to write and have it write it based on my voice and the conversation we’ve had this far. Works great for less “professional” writing.
@lukejdalton For sure, you’ve got to have some level of competency across the board now. Harder to kick decisions down the road when you have the ability to test everything in “real life”.
Today we’re releasing an early preview of the /design command in Claude Code!
from CC Desktop or CLI, try something like "/design a few options for {feature}" before you build — pick your fave artboard, edit it and implement.

@MengTo QQ: did you generate the initial image for the hero with higgfield and then just prompt away for the 3d rendering? I'd like to do something like this, but curious how to create a completely different base image!
@clairevo I've had Codex running through my spam inbox for 2 days now. It's going through 200K+ emails to help me clear out that inbox. It's so great– I've hid from that inbox for years.🙌🏽
@hemeon@Lovable Use a the frontenddesign skill in Claude. It works great to help iterate on a design / idea.
Claude design is amazing as well, but I like to just generate an idea there and then take it into Claude code or cursor and iterate. You don’t need opus for everything!
@clairevo I tried this out last Friday on an app I vibecoded. I gave it a prompt to come up with different visuals styles and it did great! UX left a lot to be desired ,but the design variations allowed me to find a style I really liked and now I’m applying it back to my app! Amazing!
@clairevo@GeminiApp This is amazing– I'm still just vibecoding websites and prototypes! I wish I could find a tutorial of how deeper workflows actually work in practice (initial setup). For me the summarization abstracts it a bit and I'm always looking for nitty gritty details on execution.
@clairevo@chatprd This was such a great deep dive! I can’t wait to take this for a spin with generating prototypes. I wonder if it’s gotten better at replicating a Figma designs; I‘m still looking for something that can take my designs and duplicate them so I can build prototypes faster.
GPT-5 is here and is my new favorite AI engineer.
I was given early access and tested this new model on @chatprd along with some of my favorite coding, business, and personal workflows.
Here's a special How I AI deep dive on this new model, and what I love (and don't) about it 👇
