@Temetias @randomcallsign @esl_r1 Valid argument, but given that they promise mod support I think thats enough to ensure longetivity, I mean look at AC or RBR. Still a lot depends on how expensive their model will be, if they want to rival IR I hope it will be cheaper.
@juanc_valero @Eris_OEA @randomcallsign @esl_r1 Well we know already from the app they launched, each car has a VIN number, it will log number of races/wins etc and then you can sell the car on a marketplace if you want. Liveries will probably also be tradeable like skins in cs:go etc. Basically monetizing everything possible.
@randomcallsign @esl_r1 I dont know, in every list of top simracing games etc people say that the biggest minus of iracing is its business model but when rennsport will have the same model its suddenly ok and we are supposed to be happy.
@randomcallsign @esl_r1 So people who dont care about simracing are happy because the stream was fun. People who actually plan to play the game and use it daily have negative feedback because they dont feel like spending 2k$ on a game again for it to have the same flaws.
@randomcallsign @esl_r1 Maybe because we are longing for an actually great title? Not another subscription based crazy amount of money requiring game like iracing, plus atm both visual(ride height seem too high) and audio is lacking, bop also bad, 90% of cars were audi even tho they have 2 tracks.
@pakson_c @randomcallsign @PabloGz I Didnt watch the race and I dont play Iracing 😂What im saying is if the game alows you to do it, you do it. Sporting code probably says track is within the lines at all times and yet you cut curbs and exit the corners wide if it doesnt give an offtrack
