The image shows Prof. Ukshin Hoti, the visionary intellectual and national figure.
Beaten in Serbian prisons, missing since 1999, his fate remains an open wound.
It is confirmed that after serving a five-year sentence, Ukshin Hoti was released from Dubravës Prison on May 16, 1999. Immediately upon his release, all trace of him was lost, taken by the Serbian police. His disappearance was determined to be planned.
His personal tragedy became a national disaster: His family and fellow villagers in Krushë e Madhe Rahovec, paid the ultimate price. His father, brother, 30 cousins, and 174 villagers were murdered by Serbian criminals.
Evidence shows that the victims were shot, beaten, and then their bodies were burned with hay in a deliberate attempt to conceal the crime.
Prof. Ukshin Hoti is remembered as a martyr for the Albanian cause.🙏💔
As seen in the photo, one might understand why the Serbian 🇷🇸 competitor keeps her head bowed in front of a Kosovar 🇽🇰; we continue to leave Serbs in a state of humility. In fact, they have two reasons for their downcast gaze: the shame of having caused so much massacre in Kosovo, and secondly, the shame and defeats they suffer at the Olympic Games at the hands of Kosovars.
