Mom made it from scratch. Brown the chops. Make a milk gravy with the drippings. Coat sliced potatoes with the gravy in a glass casserole dish. Push the chops into the top to coat, flip to sauce the other sides. Bake until potatoes are soft, 1.25 to 1.5 hours. Never thought about using boxed potatoes! Would be easier!

Been slacking in the posting department again. We had a wonderful road trip from NM to Virginia Beach and along the Gulf Coast on the return trip. Hung out in Nashville for a few days, and walked around Old Salem, as well as touring a few old homes and several museums. Should have posted as we went but I was to busy enjoying the journey.
