Post-grad unemployment is the highest since 2009. The students who are utilizing tools like AI to get their work done are more valuable than the ones who can memorize the US state capitals. I for sure know which student I am hiring!
Buying a new car, upgrading your wardrobe, or dining out aren’t liabilities. Don’t feel guilty about these things – they’re motivation to keep pushing forward. Not every purchase needs to be a financial investment; sometimes, the best investment is in yourself.
Get ready – the most competitive real estate market in history is just around the corner. Unless you have hundreds of thousands of dollars, you won’t be able to compete when it shifts, potentially delaying homeownership for years. The time to act is now.
I wake up every day super excited to start my day! I really love the people I work with and I enjoy my clients and business partners from all over the country. Beyond blessed!
Invest in a home that you can grow into, rather than one that merely meets your current needs. If it means an additional $200-$300 a month, believe me, the extra cost is well worth it.
The most effective way to grow your business is by answering the phone!
Picture this: what if you never missed a call or text for an entire year? What would your business look like? How would your clients feel? This type of commitment is around the clock, even while you're on vacation.
I truly don’t believe the next generation will be able to retire. I’m so concerned that I stay awake at night trying to get the math to work in my head. If you’re not scared about retirement, you should be.
That’s why I do real estate advising. If I can help a few people do real estate the right way, I can help them save some money, which makes a difference.
IT’S MONDAY, my favorite day of the week!
I don’t take weekends off or disconnect from work; I truly enjoy the process and have made it a part of my lifestyle. However, Mondays always feel the most refreshing for me since I get to recharge over the weekend.
An ideal first supercar should be something you can handle comfortably. If you think you can jump straight into a McLaren and put your foot down, trust me, you will crash. Just because it’s fast doesn’t mean it’s easy to drive. There’s a reason my wife refuses to drive my McLaren—it scares her to death.
I believe the best first supercar is an Audi R8 if you can afford it, or a Porsche 911 if you’re on a budget. These are cars that are less likely to lead to accidents and don’t require a lot of skill to drive. A Corvette is a good option as well, but it has a loose rear end, so you must be careful in corners; however, it is easy to correct if you start to lose control.
When rates lower we will have the largest wave of homebuyers in history. I think it will be worse than Covid.
Sad thing is buyers will get worse deals with lower rates and will use up to much cash without enough savings on monthly payment.
Bottom line, if buyers are waiting it’s an emotional decision rather than a factual one.
"When life traps you in a No-Win scenario, Remember you're not powerless. Sometimes, we face situations where every choice seems destined to fail- a classic double bind. No matter what you do, disaster looms.
The Zen Koan method: a teacher holds a stick and presents three options to a student:
1.If you tell me this stick is real, I will beat you with it.
2.If you tell me this stick isn’t real, I will beat you with it.
3.If you say nothing, I will beat you with it.
The student reached out and broke the stick. - it's a bold move, a refusal to accept the limits imposed. It's a reminder, when the situation is untenable, don't endure it. Redefine it.“
My favorite closing this year: I had a young first time home buyer who had been declined by 3 other lenders (all big names around Nashville). She was beyond frustrated as the lenders dragged her through the mud days before closing.
Not only did I help get her a credit for her lost inspections and appraisals (over $3,000), we helped her find a home, and closed on it 8 days later. She cried at closing. I learned years ago that it’s about loving others and giving. This is a closing I’ll never forget!
