@joannasbarlow Hard balance to get right. Organisers need to protect participants, often from themselves but participants need to be prepared for a rough sea swim.
Extreme running & cycling events require proof of previous experience, not that IM would ever do that.

@NairoInGreen If I read it correctly they aren’t allowing trans women to race in the men’s/open category at the pro level. That seems unfair but no trans women in the women’s category seems logical.

Separate athletes rights from human rights seems ok. Whereabouts, being watched peeing…
