@GusMcgusface@Missilepanda Lol Gus, awful chat fella. They beat a bulls side with 14 springboks in, in awful conditions. Top of URC and won every European match with BP so far. Mega average yehโฆ
@TightFive_Rugby Steyn and Jordan both taller than Arundall and same height as roebuck. Steyn is quality in the air and also Dobie very good in the air. You clearly donโt watch any rugby. I agree with the Kinghorn point.
@RugbyInsideLine ๐๐ clueless as per RIL. Dobie has been selected on the wing as heโs one of this most in form players in Europe. Gone with Glasgow wings and rightly so based on form. The only error is Hastings on bench, no need. Should have had 6/2 bench
@ruaridh_jackson Yep, with the versatility of most of the selected backs, I canโt understand the Hastings inclusion. Definitely should have gone 6/2 with either Bayliss or Douglas benching
@ajsrugby Adam, I agree about hastings. Should have gone 6/2 bench. TJ can play 10, Dobie at a push. Steyn can play centre/wing. Jones to. So we have versatility everywhere so cannot understand the Hastings selection
@joesummer100@ajsrugby Joe, as a Glasgow Fan, absolutely. He will probably be our best 9 and winger on the pitch at one time. Ignore his size as let me tell you, he smashes into contact and fights well above his size. Probably the fastest and fittest player in the squad to..
@penrice_david@maybethiseason@JNPhillips4 Nice pun there, David. Facts donโt lie, two world cups we have not got out the group under Townsend. Beating England several times has papered over the cracks.
@maybethiseason@JNPhillips4 This year they lost away to Fiji which again hurts the seedings. So Townsend cannot complain when he gets โtough groupsโ thatโs on him.
@maybethiseason@JNPhillips4 They had Ireland and SA in their group off the back of poor results to dictate seedings. When Townsend took over they were 5th in world, now they are 9th. Have failed to qualify out of group in 2 world cups in row and Townsend is also working with Newcastle. Not acceptable
@CFreemanGP@TEnglishSport No chanceโฆnot that I disagree with it but the SRU have no backbone. Theyโve backed their man and thatโs it. Even with the risk of Franco leaving Glasgow, they still backed Townsend for the national job.
@TEnglishSport The loss was not necessarily Townsends fault, there were several individual errors. Dropped balls, carried over the line. However, itโs another tough loss, all with the most talented side weโve had in many years. Last 2 world cups failed to get through group. Thatโs on Townsend.
