Today, we are releasing new guidance to Federal agencies for establishing a National Initiative for American Space Nuclear Power, as called for by President Trump’s EO on Ensuring American Space Superiority.
Nuclear power in space will give us the sustained electricity, heating, and propulsion essential to a permanent presence on the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

We’re on the cusp of a generational opportunity in space nuclear power systems. This time around the private sector is ready to answer the call. If we succeed, we will catalyze $1T in nuclear powered commercial, defense, and science missions.
We just raised $96M to build and deploy our microreactors.
This round powers the work ahead — advancing our hardware, maturing our operations, and paving the way for our first reactor demonstration in 2026.
Two years in: 60 people, three states, a 145,000-sq-ft facility, and contracts across DoW, NASA, and others.
We’re moving fast. Come build with us.

We had a team meeting today that ended at 2:00 p.m.
As soon as the meeting ended one employee was already out the door.
No lingering.
No post-meeting small talk.
He ran out like there was a fire drill.
I ran after him and asked if everything was okay.
He said yes, it was just the day before Thanksgiving and he wanted to get home early.
I told him holidays don’t start early just because people want them to.
He said he thought today was “basically over.”
I told him the work day is "basically over" at the same time every day: 5:00 p.m.
Then I logged “premature departure attempt” and made him stay until 5.
Nuclear Regulators
NukeCorp: Good Morning. We want to move a barrel of stuff from here… A. To there… B.
Regulator: What if someone shoots the barrel with a tomahawk missile whilst you are moving it?
NukeCorp: But why would? I mean who even? Are you serious?
Regulator: We’re going to have to see empirical data. Can we see your tomahawk missile barrel-strike test procedure? I presume you have one?
NukeCorp: 😖
@MattLoszak I like what you’re doing and think it’s great. Just be careful with the PM-1 analogy. You can find their old final report that details that even they found it uneconomical. Would you agree @whatisnuclear?
BREAKING: The US Army will be building multiple nuclear microreactors at its installations, to provide energy resilience for our soldiers and their families.
No more just talking about nuclear. We are going to build real hardware.

You’re a sexy pizza delivery driver and I’m the guy who answers the door and says oh no I don’t have any money how will I pay for this pizza
