The Winners 📈
- The last 2 seed is very much up for grabs... Illinois holds it for now. Going to be quite the battle in Chicago next week at the B1G Tournament between Michigan St, Illinois, Purdue, and Nebraska to shake out these 2/3 seeds (I do think MSU is easily ahead of the other three at this moment)
- Wisconsin and Miami FL both jump from an 8 to a 7. Looking ahead, Wisconsin as a 7 could potentially share a pod with 2-seeded Florida (sorry Badger fans for the Chris Chiozza flashback)
- TCU has a crazy resume with amazing wins and terrible losses... but have to feel pretty comfortable if you are a Horned Frogs fan following the win over Texas Tech
- VCU and Indiana both handle their business this week and enter the field, mostly at the expense of other teams losing

The Losers 📉
- With how strong the top 3 teams are in Michigan, Duke, and Arizona, I would not want to be on the 8/9 line. Utah State, losers of 3 of their last 4 including an awful showing at UNLV, now find themselves right in that spot
- The bubble is volatile... NC State, Missouri, and Texas all drop from the 9/10 line to the 10/11 line
- New Mexico loses at home to Colorado State and falls out of the field
- I was tweeting about this a bit yesterday, but SMU really could use a win on Saturday at Florida State to stabilize their odds

With Miami OH now clinching the 1 seed in the MAC, they have replaced Akron as the AQ. This freed up a bubble spot for Indiana, who would have been the first team OUT in a 2-bid MAC.

I haven’t seen any evidence, any year, that the postseason tournaments matter.

It’ll be a 4 seed and a tough road.
