I am truly honored to be on this Lawdragon 500 list of leading litigators in America! I certainly experience imposter syndrome when I see my name next to my current partners (Mike Hilgers and Andrew Graben) and so many leaders for whom I have great admiration!

Team Dallas / Houston / Bryan! Hoping you can make it this week to see Cynthia’s brother / my bro in law @realaaronweber in action!! You won’t regret it! He is one of the best stand up comedians out there. Many of you have heard him on the @NatelandPodcast !

A quote from the incredible Queen Elizabeth II during her 1991 visit to TX: “No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born Texans.” (University of Texas at Austin Libraries)

Today’s Dallas temp was a nice 76 degrees. My kids: “Mom and Dad - it’s cold out here! We need scarves and gloves. It could snow tonight!” I guess it is 30 degrees cooler than what they are used to… 😄 @wfaaweather

21 years ago, our country was shaken by acts of terrorism, resulting in thousands of innocent deaths and injuries. Countless individuals then stepped up at all levels to save, rebuild, inspire. May we never forget those lives and the resilience in each of our communities.

[9/11 Memorial & Museum @Sept11Memorial]

The Never Forget Fund is a chance to honor those killed by sharing stories and affirming the sense of community that held us up in the aftermath of the attacks so future generations will never forget. We invite you to submit your own message. Link here: https://t.co/uOKN22XTjv

Today is a day to recognize all of our neighbors who work tirelessly to serve and strengthen our communities. All of these jobs involve stress and sacrifice. When I remember that throughout my daily interactions, gratitude prevails! #HappyLaborDay

@upsmith - along with @CitySq, @DPDJubileePark, @trinityparkc, and @n1leftbehind - will be making a significant, meaningful investment in the future of Dallas. Let’s go!

[Grant Schmidt @grantschmidt12]

A big opportunity for Dallas as our very good pal @wyatt_h_smith launched significant partnerships for his new company @upsmith - focusing on a solution to the skilled worker shortage across the U.S.! @LMcBee4Dallas @JoeCarreon

[Grant Schmidt @grantschmidt12]

In TX alone, there is a skilled worker shortage of nearly 1 million jobs. @upsmith is helping create opportunities by identifying, onboarding, training, and mentoring aspiring HVAC technicians!

Please stay safe today, DFW!

We haven't seen this amount of rain in a given month since October 2018...

The last 24hrs also ranks 2nd for highest 24 hr. rain totals. Only behind 9.57" that fell on Sept. 4-5, 1932.
