We had a solid session during Sunday’s DAO call. The standout moment was when @kirk unveiled that he’s building a mobile version of the Grape Wallet, which is huge for accessibility and would be going live for testing soon enough.
He also shared that governance is now open sourced, meaning other communities can fork it to spin up their own DAOs
Lots of updates are being pushed on https://t.co/7Yq1fAGJ55 to accommodate easy onboarding of DAOs who have been on Realms, as the goal is to keep the experience alive and even better, with Governance and also, Reputation Spaces and incoming Grape Wallet - where everything fits right into your pocket.
That sparked a sharp but energizing discussion around switching the Grape domain to Realms to keep the Realms dream alive and flowing so that the DAO model realms runs on is not forgotten.
We wrapped things up on a lighter note with raffles, closing out the call with good vibes

Enter Grape DAO Operations
Grape DAO fixes governance issues with its operations. It’s a full stack built on Identity, Reputation, and Access governance designed with members, not for members. This is what real DAO infrastructure looks like.
Most DAOs still ask: “How many tokens do you hold?”
Grape asks: “What have you actually done?”
That’s the difference. Influence here is merit‑based, not bag‑based. Voting weight grows as members contribute and earn more governance power through $GRAPE. Before any proposal goes live, proposers sit with members in open calls to discuss, debate, and refine. Every voice is heard, every issue is addressed, and only then does it move on‑chain. That’s governance with integrity.
Recognition is baked into the system. The system don't recognise Members who just hold tokens, only those who tries to build reputation. Contributions translate into governance power, ensuring that active participants shape the future of the DAO. It’s proof that participation, (not just capital) drives real community.
Kirk’s OG Reputation Spaces takes this further by tracking live contributions during calls, ranking members on a leaderboard, and turning engagement into raffle rewards. The more you contribute, the closer you are to winning. It’s gamified accountability that makes participation visible and rewarding.
Scaling is solved too. The Main DAO manages resources, while Sub‑DAOs (Graperators), organized by skills and roles, handle specific areas of work
This structure makes the DAO more relatable, reliable, and trustworthy ensuring contributions flow and members stay empowered.
This is why Grape,
a DAO where governance power comes from what you do.

Last Sunday’s DAO call kicked off with market updates before diving deep into the frenzy around app‑specific blockchains notably Hyperliquid for perps and Zcash for privacy.
We then shifted to global developments, including Trump’s escalating tensions with Iran.
Later, the discussion moved back to crypto: the state of the Solana trenches, Fire Dancer, and the uproar around the $RICH token created in support of a cancer patient.
Wrapping up, we reviewed Grape documentation, mapped out onboarding strategies for new DAO partners, and looked over draft ideas for a potential Grape tweet.
The call closed with a raffle distributing tokens: $SOL, $MON, $USELESS, $BONK, and $JUP.
DAO calls resume today let’s keep the momentum rolling.
The community voted. The raffle rewards just got rotated.
$JUP carried last quarter while $DRIFT and $SKR dragged. Time for fresh blood.
Next quarter's Raffle lineup:
$GRAPE · $SOL · $BONK · $JUP · $MON · $USELESS
6 Slots; 6 Spins per Call; 6 Winners
Show up for a chance to win. See you on the next DAO Call.
We had these topics highlighted from the last DAO call as seen on the info graphics
for today, we'll be resuming the discussion around Monad validator run, continuing discussions potentially with @LeverUp_xyz today, a market review with alpha insights on what to expect, and more
New token raffles go live today shortly after the call, highlighted on the last tweet but will also be made visible on the first tweet (can check) tokens such as monad:native solana:Dz9mQ9NzkBcCsuGPFJ3r1bS4wgqKMHBPiVuniW8Mbonk solana:JUPyiwrYJFskUPiHa7hkeR8VUtAeFoSYbKedZNsDvCN solana:DezXAZ8z7PnrnRJjz3wXBoRgixCa6xjnB7YaB1pPB263 made the cut

Hacks in crypto have become one of the most complex and recurring issues in the industry. Just last month alone, over $600 million was lost to different exploits. Many of these incidents could have been prevented with basic precautions.
Simple measures like dedicated devices for treasury control, multisig wallets, and stronger social engineering defenses are often ignored. These oversights make it harder to convince everyday users that crypto is the future when headlines are filled with breaches and losses.
The reality is clear hacks are ruining the DeFi experience. They erode trust, discourage adoption, and reinforce the perception that crypto is unsafe. For newcomers, this is especially damaging.
Instead of treating hacks as “part of the game,” the industry should invest serious time and resources into security infrastructure. Protecting treasuries, educating teams, and enforcing best practices must become non‑negotiable.
Crypto can only achieve mainstream adoption if users both seasoned and new feel confident that their assets are secure. Normalizing hacks undermines everything the space is trying to build.
🍇Grape rewards system for active contributors
GUBA
- stable pool allocated to active contributors in the DAO. Periodically distributed based on set metrics for activities and contributions.
GRIP
- Grape token which serve as "governance power" granted to contributors captured in the GUBA pool. Strengthens alignment with the native token economy of the DAO.
MERITS
- Quarterly recognition for contributors who consistently go above and beyond in advancing the DAO.
BOUNTY
- Funding pools designed to incentivize completion of well-defined tasks of significant benefits to the DAO. Flexible and adaptable, allowing the dao to target urgent or high-priority initiatives.

On Sunday, the Grape DAO call unfolded with a series of structured discussions, each clearly labeled in the shared graphic. The most engaging part of the session came when the community spent significant time exploring opportunities across different chains. This included deliberations on running a Monad validator and the idea of incorporating $MON tokens into raffle activities, which sparked considerable excitement.
The call also moved into a performance review segment, where active DAO members were assessed and rewards for Grip and Guba were discussed in detail. A supporting tweet will be linked in the first comment to provide further context for those who want to dive deeper (into the discussions regarding grape reward systems)
While there were other side conversations throughout, the call ultimately concluded with raffles, maintaining the community’s tradition of ending on a participatory note.
The DAO call continues today, and participation is strongly encouraged we want you 🫵🏽
