GraphFunding

The funding system from Vitalik's Snowmoon, built for real on @Ethereum. Open source

Real before the token.

Verified contracts, open source (GPL-3.0, like the book), 125 tests and a fork test against the real Stockereum

11,000,000 $GRAPHFUND burned

For each node on the graph, the cryptographic

network randomly selects a committee

[GraphFunding @GraphFunding]

Every claim from the Stockereum escrow and every,

movement through the tree is designed to happen onchain

[GraphFunding @GraphFunding]

Five Keepers five votes one median

No chair gets the final word

[GraphFunding @GraphFunding]

"Nobody votes on the whole budget."

Each committee decides only the split right below its fork. Small, specialized decisions, made by people drawn at random. That's the Snowmoon idea.

[GraphFunding @GraphFunding]

A Keeper tends one fork.
Together, they shape the tree.

Graph Funding draws a committee for each branch, turning one enormous budget decision into many smaller ones.

That’s how Veridia steers its commons.

The lantern is lit. Every trade keeps it burning.

The tools everyone on Ethereum uses are funded by almost nobody: clients, privacy tools, security responders, explorers, data.

1% of every $GRAPHFUND trade goes to them. Small roots, long shade.

[GraphFunding @GraphFunding]

Why random committees?

No elections, no campaigns, no lobbying. A future block hash draws five Keepers for every fork, and nobody knows who until it happens

Can a whale buy a committee?

Seats follow stake, so a whale wins seats. But the median needs 3 of 5 votes, and no share can move more than 5 points per epoch

Every seat and vote is public.

[GraphFunding @GraphFunding]

Graph Funding isn't our idea. It's chapter 17 of Snowmoon, Vitalik's novel, free and open under GPL v3.

We just built it for real on Ethereum. Read the book:

Where does the 1% creator fee go? Not to us

It's claimed straight from the Stockereum escrow into the Graph Funding contract

Every claim is a public transaction, and the tree splits it every 6 hours

[GraphFunding @GraphFunding]

Even the biggest Keeper can walk out

[GraphFunding @GraphFunding]

Keepers who vote on a fork share 2% of what flows through it that epoch.

And every epoch you vote, you get a soulbound badge. Proof you steered the money.

Right now the owner can fix mistakes. That's temporary

After 28 clean epochs (7 days), ownership is renounced. After that, nobody can change the tree's rules. Not even us.
