@paoloseb05 Because he’s a natural CHF. Best in that role in the league. Thing is we don’t think about key forwards in that way anymore. It’s all about goals.
@CalTwomey, re the new academy & father-son rules, how is being told in July 2025 that something might happen fair if teams have been planning years out. Your argument is really odd. And here I thought there was meant to be some separation between the AFL and AFL Media.
@Timotheos77723 Not until you know what actually happened. It’s all speculation. He’s had all the tests. He’s in hospital. Let it be & what will be will be. If they’ve stuffed up then consequences will follow. It’s those that are making it up as they go that seem to get away with it.
@RalphyHeraldSun So who are the Collingwood players that said to Caro he was saying he had been drinking alcohol? I don’t think they would by the way. If it’s not true, there just have to be consequences.
@markaurisch@The_PrenderCast Sure, but it’s not as if either were first or even second rounders. Not every father son is going to be a good player. It’s up to them as well & both have flaws in their games they need to improve on. Not a major flop if they don’t make it. Still hope they do.
Elijah Hollands was the victim of a mental health episode and not under the influence of drugs during his erratic performance against Collingwood last night.
Carlton has undertaken a thorough review of Hollands’ circumstances, but after investigating are convinced his issues are not substance-related.

@aidenpash9 So you’re a MH expert now? Do you know what triggers certain episodes? It’s not a cold. There is a chance - and I don’t know - that the issue hadn’t surfaced prior to the game starting & that it progressively worsened as the game went on.
