The business community reacting with disappointment to news of #Labour withdrawing plans to invest in #greeneconomy projects & tech - much-needed for #SustainableDevelopment, prosperity & protecting our future (and ultimately a drop in the ocean)

🌱✨ Let's cut the waste, not the flavor! 🍏

Small actions make a BIG impact:

🥦 Cut down on meat, opt for plant-based
🌱 Choose local & seasonal foods
♻️ Compost food scraps

This is sad news but it’s good to see ⁦⁦@nationaltrust⁩ sounding the alarm: wildlife & plantlife is being decimated by our rapidly destabilising climate. Urgent #climateaction is needed for nature & people - and empowering communities is crucial https://t.co/XtNyxIgzmM

[Grassroots @grassroots_now]

These are shocking statistics on how extreme wealth & inequality is fuelling the #ClimateEmergency.

But the most important message in this new @Oxfam report is that we can tackle both, creating a greener & fairer world for all. Empowering people at the grassroots is crucial.

[Oxfam International @Oxfam]

The new Oxfam report, Climate Equality, shows that in 2019, the super-rich 1% were responsible for the same carbon pollution as the poorest two thirds of humanity - 5 billion people.

The past 4 days, 100k concerned citizens, families, scientists, artists, 200+ NGOs took to the streets of London to protest lack of #climateaction, and highlight all we have to lose, or gain.

But where were the media? The silence dismays & betrays us all, @BBCNews. #TheBigOne
