This morning was our final 10K run before the Hull 10K next week and we even managed to include the Park Run! The last year has been a very personal journey as I’ve battled back to health and fitness plus we really want to make a difference in the kids lives in Romania too.

Last day in Romania b4 travelling home tomorrow has been as busy as ever. We are coming home exhausted but exhilarated, challenged & changed, stretched but growing in confidence. Together we are making a difference. Together ordinary people become extra ordinary. #ordinarypeople

After another busy day with kids work, home visits and lots of painting. Tonight we have Sarmale had a quiz all about Romania and the UK. The losers had to wash up and the Romanians got very passionate!! 😂

Another ridiculously busy day, but worth every precious minute. More devotions, hair cuts (with only one melt down!) we started our kids work for the week & painted Alan, pastors meeting, prayer meeting, home visits & arm wrestling. And today’s lunch was amazing #ordinarypeople

Another busy day in Medgidia! Devotions, food shopping, sorting hats, pants and craft, showers & haircuts, home visits & team training. It was such a quiet day so went to Constanta too 😜 And we’ve also adopted a couple of lovely ladies from America. #ordinarypeople

24 hours in Romania & we’ve hit the ground running! Wedding, church, testimonies, preach, worship and prayer. And we’re still smiling if not a little tired! #ordinarypeople

So far we have 79 hats, 61 pairs of gloves, 13 scarfs, 6 vests, 52 pairs of sock & 121 pairs of pants! Plus craft supplies & clothes. We R awaiting more craft supplies 2morrow. Peoples generosity is amazing! Better book another case or 2 into the hold! Thank you. #ordinarypeople

This morning we have acquired a car boot full of hats, gloves, pants, socks and stationary for Romania. Think we’ll need another case!! Thank you church for being amazing! All of us can be a part of mission and you’ve proved that today. Thank you. #ordinarypeople

We did it!! We completed the Gung Ho 5K obstacle course and raised lots of money for our trip to Romania in 2 weeks time. A massive THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored us and or cheered us on today! Together we are making a difference. #ordinarypeople
