@ChezWhizzz Using words that usually mean different things to different people and often even different things to the same people depending on when & from whom they hear it. “They love the swing but they hate the drills that created the swing. How stupid is that?” Gallwey’s Inner Game is 🔑
@Teacherman1986@Mo_MHSBCA Would love any video/audio of the presentation if it’s available. I’m obviously a believer and never tire of listening to folks hearing your background, match video teaching etc
@TewksHitting@teachmetohit@ProVelocityBat I got there in the thread because I also disagree that “ideal” bat speed can be defined as fastest, hardest hit, etc. No arguments all those things matter, but if you could only pick one thing to train for why wouldn’t launch quickness be #1 on your list?
@WallStCynic@SquawkCNBC Bet he direct deposited into one of the interest bearing accounts offered by Gemini or BlockFi. Magic of dollar cost averaging + 10% interest paid in BTC is a tool every muni worker should have access to. Freeze on redemptions a feature not a bug for folks who need help saving
@teachmetohit@TewksHitting@ProVelocityBat For me these visuals further reinforce @Teacherman1986 point that Launch Quickness always and forever trumps everything else all other things being equal which admittedly they rarely are. Giddyup down the back vs out front = more time = better decisions = more barrels
@teachmetohit@TewksHitting@ProVelocityBat Obviously 75>70 but isn’t the goal to develop a swing that plays in a game vs maximize metrics in the cage? What good is 75 right at contact if the contact % is meaningfully lower than the swing at 70 with quicker acceleration?
