@Government why are you still debating re extra bank holidays or annual leave for frontline workers /healthcare workers and yet I still had to pay my Nursing Pin fee again this year. Simple solution. €100 gone at the most expensive time of year yet again 👏🏻👍🏻
Always hate when people don’t be so excited screaming and shouting when they win something on tv or radio and I had to be that person today sat on a full train “Awh thanks so much” inside I was buzzing yeeeeoooow thanks guys ☕️@RTE2fm@DoireannGarrihy@CarlMullan
I am actually raging I took the HSE post now and didn't just stick with agency. Got my first pay slip. I was put on the bottom of the scale, hours missing, no saturday allowance and no premium pay for sunday. Net pay 200 for 36 hours work #happyInternationalNursesDay

BREAKING:
Letterkenny University Hospital has had to secure extra staffing tonight to open 11 extra beds.
Ambulances containing patients were queuing outside the hospital today awaiting admission.
LUH apologises to patients for the distress that these delays caused @rtenews
And yet the student nurses who are exposed to covid daily and quite literally given no choice but to do the work of a qualified nurse go unpaid and unappreciated. Sick. Of. It.
I am done with the government. I hate that I am 23 years old and cannot see my family or boyfriend for six weeks. My only outlet going to work where I face crippling scary situations and chronic understaffing. Not one ounce of appreciation for what I or my profession do everyday
