@damaqueengem I agree that it's easy to confuse "pon" and "ron" - as much as I don't love it, calling "mahjong" is at least distinct. But because a call means everyone stops, the caller's next action - displaying 2 tiles or revealing their whole hand - makes their intent clear immediately
