On Monday night, the Israeli army launched a large-scale raid on Nablus in the occupied West Bank. Israeli soldiers invaded the city from several directions and kidnapped Palestinians from multiple areas, including Balata, Canadian School and the Old City.
This made me think about how Sudanese women and girls committed suicide en masse when the terrorist RSF entered their villages, because they knew that the fate they would meet is worse than death itself. Protecting women against sexual violence in warzones is suicide prevention.
Billionaires harming the environment is the ultimate argument for a wealth tax. After all, we bear the brunt of climate change caused by their excessive lifestyle.
Puma is also on the @BDSmovement boycott list, as has been Addias, Under Armor, Zara, LMVH and other fashion and apparel brands because the owners fund and hire the IOF, use child/exploitive labor and productjon practices, etc.
San Simon, Pampanga, Sep. 1, 2026.

This should not be happening. The forests of Borneo and Indonesia are being razed to ashes so palm oil plantations operated foreign companies can use it as a material substitute in food and cosmetic products. What's happening there must be major concern for the entire world.
REDISCOVERED AFTER TWO DECADES
Environmental advocacy group Center for Conservation Innovations on Thursday shared a photo of the rare Mindoro bleeding-heart pigeon (Gallicolumba platenae), classified as “critically endangered” by the IUCN Red List.
The group said the bird was last photographed in 2005, while the latest image was captured at an elevation of more than 900 meters, beyond the species’ usual documented habitat. It also credited the native Iraya Mangyan communities for documenting the sighting.

BREAKING: Humanitarian workers harassed, barred from relief mission in Capas
Humanitarian workers from the Central Luzon Disaster Response Network (CDRC), Alay Bayan–Gitnang Luzon, and Tanggol Ayta at Residente para sa Lupa at Kabuhayan (TARLAK) were reportedly harassed and prevented from conducting a relief operation in Sapang Kawayan, Capas, Tarlac today, September 3.
According to Karapatan Central Luzon, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) guards blocked the team and even insisted on bringing them to the BCDA office.
The humanitarian mission sought to deliver relief to Ayta communities affected by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
The groups said the obstruction violates protections for humanitarian and emergency personnel under International Humanitarian Law and Section 19 of Republic Act No. 10121, or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010.
