I've known the system was broken my whole life! The number one criticism I received was that I can't take on the world! With #Bitcoin, I no longer have to!
That's me on The Bitcoin Edge podcast. Thank you for having me @PaulaBTCEdge it was a lot of fun.
I mispoke on a date which I'm kicking myself for. I said we had 9% inflation in 1913 and I meant 2023. 🤣

@cdcm99@dathon_ohm@Leurico8@separ8 My point still stands correct. Bitcoin is already fuck you money. Bip110 doesn't make it more of what it already is. If anything, if Bip110 wins it could prove that bitcoin actually isn't fuck you money in the first place.

@cdcm99@dathon_ohm@Leurico8@separ8 You can't grandstand and then do the same thing.
It just shows that Luke is no better than core devs. You just agree with his reasoning.
I am thrilled to announce that BIP-110 has been included in the latest official release of @BitcoinKnots!
It is now no longer necessary to run my standalone BIP-110 fork in order to be fully secure when BIP-110 activates.
Special thanks to @LukeDashjr for all his hard work.
The amount of people that are mad at @saylor is laughable. The dude literally lays out his new plans, announces that he will sell, only sells a little bit, and people are losing their minds.
Meanwhile, Saylor is cementing his ability to continue paying out to STRC which will attract more money to buy more Bitcoin.
And who wins in the end when the dust settles?
Bitcoin holders, MSTR holders, and STRC holders. Why are you crying?
Is it because math is hard?

People are out here hanging on to the words of big influencers and basing their risk profile on it.
Buy what you can afford to live without. Avoid debt and hodl. It's that simple.
Just buy Bitcoin.
Ok I see what you meant.
But you did miss my point.
One of the major issues with Core changing the defaults is that they are pushing their agenda to anyone who is unknowing or wouldn't care enough to even raise their filter limit.
That same tactic is being deployed by Knots, but in reverse. By automatically including Bip110 in the next knots version update, Luke is pushing his agenda on people wh0 also either are unknowing or wouldn't care enough to independently run Bip110.
So now both sides are playing the same dirty game because neither has overwhelming support.
Shame on both. Luke is no better than core devs
@PaulaBTCEdge I enjoyed it as well. I hated hearing myself, I don't think anyone likes the way they sound honestly. It's so weird to hear a recording of yourself. But I definitely enjoyed talking with you. There is always so much to talk about but never enough time.

My original point remains the same.
One of the major issues everyone had with the corev30 release was that it automatically included the OPR increase in the new default. And originally there wasn't an option to change it. They revised v30 to allow people to set their own filters but kept the default.
Now knots is doing the same thing.
Do you want to update to the newest version of knots but don't want to run Bip110? Too fucking bad.
