Half of our horror icons are people who were victims of various types of abuse. Jennifer from Jennifer’s Body. Carrie White. Jason Vorhees. Samara Morgan from The Ring. The list goes on. It’s NOT surprising at all. Curry Barker himself stated it was his dream to have Nikki at HHN, and they rushed to make it happen. This unique, micro-budget horror film with an iconic and tragic main character is getting its recognition for being iconic, just like all the others!
